Betty, I love the word “tendered” as a verb this way!! And listening to the “chocky” talk, I think I hear an uneaten Hershey bar calling….yes, that’s it–gotta go!! God bless your rest tonight, and your waking in the morning–much love to you, my sister of the sea!

Well, there was snow last week in the higher elevations of Portland, and since then it has been a bit warmer but still rainy. Although, the flowers are blooming and that helps 🙂

Hi Betty,
lovely haiku!
Here the trees have not yet started (we are always later than the rest of the country lol) but it is the nicest green, I know!

Thank you, Ina. 🙂 The elm trees are the only ones putting out leaves here, but the flowering trees are blooming! Hope spring arrives there soon. (Tulips blooming yet?)

Springtime haiku; there’s something phenomenal about leaves, without them we could not breathe…

So true, Lindy Lee… I mourn for all the trees being thoughtlessly cleared away for whatever “reasons”. We breathe trees…!
