WOW WOW WOW, Betty!! I really really love this haiku–and your photo is magnificent!! How playful–“rainbow up her sleeve”!! You’re amazing, SOS!! (This is seriously “print and send” worthy–can I share it with my cousin?) love, Caddo

Of course you can, Caddo! 🙂 I’m flattered. This was one of the prettiest rainbows I’ve seen in a long time. It was actually a double one but it doesn’t show in the picture.

Beautiful haiku Betty – I like the way you’ve made the sun feminine (why shouldn’t it be, of course, after all it IS in German, die Sonne…), it gives it a more ‘natural’, magical feel. And what a wonderful photo – what was your wish? 😉

Another wonderful haiku. You do this form so well Betty, lets face it you do all forms well.
I needed me a rainbow today. I’m off to a funeral, my first since Rod’s. I’ll keep this image and haiku in the forefront of my mind.
Thanks Betty
