Made me think of one of the roadrunners that I have on my property who likes to stare at his reflection in the patio window…enjoyed your poem.

Wish we had roadrunners here! There was once a robin outside an office where I worked who kept pecking angrily at his image in the window – poor fellow. I was afraid he was going to hurt himself. Mating season – scary!! 🙂

Que song your so vain…made me smile, the line.. “with one eye on the mirror you watched yourself go about, all the girl wished that you’d be their boyfriend.” I prefer your Haiku though.
