I ready for fall…just not winter. 🙂 Well…let’s face it…winter in SoCal ain’t all that bad…it’s summer that creates the pain.

I enjoy all the seasons – but will miss summer! (Moderate temps here, thankfully.) Thanks for your comment, Charlie. 🙂

Actually lots of leaves are falling now – seems early. Probably because of the dry summer? Hope you catch that first leaf!

Gorgeous Betty! Im afraid I have to display ignorance and admit I had to look up “augury”!! A new word for my poems maybe! Im a little sad summer is on its way, I just love all the flowers so much, but autumn (fall) has its many blessings, one of which being ghe fabulous colour changes. Hugs xx

Hi Christine! Augury came from the thesaurus – wouldn’t have thought of it otherwise. 🙂 It stood out, as it has “augu” that are in august.

Thank you so much, Anna!
(It’s just a coincidence, I guess, that the word augury and “August” both start with “aug”. August here always hints of autumn and coming changes.)

Spring here now but we had no winter this year – well, what we call winter. 😉

Global warming, perhaps? Our winters have warmed up here too – we don’t have the snow we used to. Alas! I’m hoping maybe this winter we will.
Enjoy your springtime! 😀
