‘Tis fall, indeed!
I love when flowers
go to seed
and chickadees
come to feed
and there’s no need
to deadhead,
nor to weed.

A re-post – just an artless little ditty from Gramma Krackers. (My alter ego).
Ah…it does cut the workload for those of you who have had rain enough to have weeds….me no rain…no weeds…and very few flowers…enjoyed you verse.

Charlie, sorry to hear you live where they’ve had such a dry summer – it was hard to watch that on the news in so many parts of the country (along with fires). We actually had a warmer and dryer summer than usual too (here in the Pacific Northwest) but at least the occasional rain – enough to avoid a damaging drought. Climate change: there’s no denial (except with the politicians!)

Thank you, Christine! Yes, I’m trying to see the “brighter” side of fall right now – it’s there, we just have to look for it…. as we look forward to spring again. 🙂
