Ah, yes, Betty, I’m with you, there. Why do we think we know something, just because we know its given name?

I agree, Cynthia. It’s human nature to name things but sometimes it detracts from the sheer beauty of nature itself.

I appreciate your simple and timely poem. I am opposed to psychiatric labelling — it is of no use and does great harm.

True – we tend to pigeon hole everything, and who is to say what is a weed (connotation = ugly) and what is an exquisite flower? Thanks for your feedback!

P.S. I meant to add something about the psychiatric labeling – and I agree 100%! All too common and damaging. Thank you again, Joanna.

Fabulous Betty! We are so hung up on names aren’t we?! And if we know the Latin ones we can really show off!! 🙂
I have sorted WP out again and it’s silly unfollowing antics!
I had a very bad fall on Monday evening, badly wrenched back, huge bruise on thigh and grazed and bruised shoulder. Will explain more when I reply to your email. Sending hugs xxx

Oh no, Christine! I’m sorry to hear about another fall, and that sounds like a particularly bad one. Sounds so painful – please take care and heal up fast! No rush with email – just when you feel up to it. xxoo

Cool song – a regular “study” in yellow. (Didn’t think I cared for “Cold Play” but I like this one, thank you Willow! 🙂 )
