all were singing in the choir
praying for the end of drought
no one put the fire out.

I am always amazed that we struggle against nature the way we do…

I think nowadays nature is struggling against humans, trying to regain its balance when all we’ve done is upset it. Hopefully that will change someday when more of humanity takes heed. (Off my soapbox now. 🙂 🙂 🙂 )

I sense a little “jab” toward some of those religious types. You said a lot here in those few words, Betty.

Yes, maybe more than a jab. 😉 I get very frustrated with those who bury their heads in the sands of doctrine and tradition and ignore the scientific facts of climate change – and what we need to do about it.
It’s good to hear from you! I’ve been off wp for awhile as we’ve been moving the last month. Hoping to get back here soon – then catch up with blog reading. Thank you for visiting mine!

I know what you mean, Betty. I’ve been off WP too but for no good reason really except maybe I got distracted by engrossing myself in a certain tiny someone. 🙂 I hope to get my creative juices flowing again soon. Nice to have you pop over in the midst of your move, Betty. xo

I like this prickly little flower. Ironic that you needed to ‘clarify’ it for some people.
