Wonderful. I’m sure the muse is close by now.

Always hovering but not always touching down. 😉 Thank you!

My Muse seems to have her own schedule…and keeps me waiting sometimes for hours.

I know just what you mean, Charlie. (Only mine sometimes keeps me waiting for days, weeks. 😰 )

I think your muse was there the whole time – grinning at you.

This perfectly captures the promise of a blank page for a true poet. By the way, the picture, along with the one your About page, strongly suggests that, like me, you are left-handed.

No, right-handed here. Funny though, the first pics I took of the pen on paper were going the other way and then I decided it looked better going the other way so turned it. The thought entered my head that maybe the first way would indicate left- handedness and I even wondered if anyone would pick up on that. Amazing you did! 🙂 (In the About photo I’m using my right hand to hold my hair out of my face.)

Thank you for correcting my presumption. I have noticed that people nearly always put their watches on with their favoured hand, so your About photo to me indicated left-handedness.

You’re most observant! I’ve always preferred wearing my watch on my right wrist (opposite of most people) because of a red birthmark on my left arm, wrist and hand. Just thought it looked better, back when I was younger. Don’t really care now but the habit remains. 🙂 It impresses me that you noticed!

Lovely poem highlighting the promise of a blank page. And gel pens….that’s too cool!

Thanks, Lana – (gel pens have become my favorite. Or my muse’s favorite. 😉 )

Otherwise occupied it seems, but then (s)has quite a large clientèle to service after all. 🙂

Ah, but aren’t the muses supposed to be everywhere at once? Guess maybe I should take a number. 😉

In Greek and Roman times there were far few folk of course. 🙂 Look at chocolate bars. There always make a big noise if they are made larger. But then they reduce the size and say nothing.

This is true. And we are not a-mused. 😝

Sadly our options are limited.

As long as our muse shows up eventually – and we have access to even a little chocolate. (Another gift from the gods….) It helps get the wheels spinning. 🙂
