Oh love, can you see us all
pulsing in red,
eyes opened wide
to reason and truth?
.
Oh love, can you see us all
reflecting orange,
imagining change
and eager to grow?
.
Oh love, can you see us all
lit up in yellow,
resolving to purify
air, land, and sea?
.
Oh love, can you see us all
shimmering in green,
rejecting the lies, and
defending the light?
..
Oh love, can you see us all
bathed in blue
with visions of healing,
and freedom from fear?
.
Oh love, can you see us all
radiating indigo,
hands joined together
in what we must do?
.
Oh love – may you see us all
aglow in violet –
creating the crest
of a new Humanity.

We have a long ballot this year with a lot of amendments, spent yesterday reading about the pros and cons and filled out my sample ballot to take with me….ready as I can be and tired of the endless negativity of commercials, etc….indigo is my fave in watercolors😊

Ah, yes – it is said that indigo is the color of oneness. 💜 Hoping for positive changes here! 😍

Remember this when voting: That spectrum is woven into us through the fiber of our society.

So true, Ken. We are the loom and we are the yarn – and it is we who must do the weaving. And we must guard against those with scissors.

I especially like how each stanza begins with “Oh, love”–addressing the higher in each of us. FIlled with hope.

Jennifer, I’m glad you zeroed in on that. Someday I hope humanity will reach its highest potential. Such a waste if we don’t.

Thank you so much, Robin. Glad you saw the chakras. 🙂 I think we need to raise them both individually and collectively.

The elusive rainbow, lifting our eyes to see what doesn’t really exist and offering hope about what we might create, if only we had the will to make better, to do good, to be loving.
Thank you for this wonderful poem, Betty.

I love the rainbow and chakra structure. Oddly enough I was using the chakra rainbow in my practice this morning.

Me too…. Working with chakras a lot lately in my meditations – personally, and visualizing them on a global level. Humanity….needs help.🌻

Now the change must begin – it will be a long process and we must be resilient. Thank you for a poem to urge us on.

Indeed, a long process. It might not bear fruit in our lifetime but we must continue to plant seeds wherever possible. (And just maybe humanity can make a quantum leap and speed things up!)
