Now we understand —
time is not a fleeting thing,
it is we who fleet.
.
Now we understand –
time does not have any wings,
it is we who fly.
.
Now we understand –
there is only one present
for us to unwrap.

Sorry I’m way behind reading blogs again. Am missing you all, and will hopefully start catching up soon, little by little. Please forgive me if I don’t comment much. (Fibromyalgia and chronic back pain are the usual culprits, and I know many of you can relate to these “invisible” health problems.)
Loving thoughts to everyone. ❤❤

Each new day is a gift to be unwrapped and celebrated…have a wonderful week!

A wonderful piece! ❤
I hope that things improve soon and you are granted some relief. I can't imagine that either of those conditions would make sitting in front of a computer at all easy!

Thank you for your kind words, Sarah. ❤️ And you’re right about the difficulties. I’ve resisted posting about the pain issues but finally felt the need to explain my absences. So many others deal with similar problems and I think it helps to share.
Hope everything is going well with you and your upcoming move. Also I imagine you have some great hikes planned now that spring is coming?

I think you’re right that sharing helps. And some days, a kind word is what carries us. ❤
I am hip deep in the details of moving currently. It's incredible the things we accumulate in this life! But it is all slowly coming together and in exactly 1 month, I'll be loading everything into a storage pod for transport and 5 days after, hitting the road with the small dogs for new adventures. (Yes, I'm already plotting Colorado hikes!) 🙂

Wow, only a month away now! I hope you have lots of help with the packing up and loading. Though I’ll miss it that you’re just a hundred miles away (even though we never got to meet) I’ll look forward to reading about your new adventures in Colorado!
And thank you, you’re right about what kind words can do. 🙂❤️

Betty, I’m so very sorry to hear about your fibro pain. It’s a debilitating condition. You’ve noticed perhaps that I’m months behind in blog following – you’d think I actually had something to do. But no, it’s just the Covid worry eating me up along with wondering about the state of our democracy and if my kids and grandkids will live in the country I always thought they’d inhabit. I seem to be squandering my one gift, as you’ve so beautifully put it.

Sharon, it’s really good to see you! I’ve been worried and wondering about the same things. And the closer we get to the election the more knotted up I feel – afraid it’s not going to go smoothly. Even if he leaves, I fear T. might not leave peacefully.
And then there’s covid-19…. I couldn’t get tested but likely had it in May-June, according to my doctor. Takes a long time to get over. And still the fear about seeing people, but really missing the grandkids! I hope you and yours have been staying well. It sounds like things have been bad down your way. Please take care. ❤
