P.S. I just realized, today is my 9th anniversary on WordPress!! Thank you to the many dear friends I’ve met here over the years.)

Thank you, tref! You’re right, and this particular poppy seemed to be pleased to dance. 😊

I would add that California poppy being so different from the rest will probably not only refuse to dance but require that you do the dancing. 🙂

😄 This one did dance but perhaps against its will. 😄

Still sending you healing thoughts. If/When you feel you can manage some periods of sitting reading I recommend this inspiring piece:

You will understand why I am sure. 😊

This looks really good, Ben. I’ve read just the beginning and am intrigued….off to read the whole thing now. Thanks so much for sending the link. And also much gratitude for your healing thoughts. 💓

If you use a pc I know where you can download a free program which will read aloud any test you post into it. That means you can “read” (by hearing) by lying down. That might ease the back problems. If you’re interested let me know and I”ll send you a link. I use it almost every day. My back is fine rather I want to avoid eye strain.

Yes, if you could send the link that’d be great! I’m almost finished reading this article (which is wonderful and exciting, and echoes what I’ve been feeling and thinking since the late 60’s) – but I could use such a program for future use. I have the eye strain problem as well.
Thank you again, Ben! 🤗
Back to finish the article now….😍

Beautiful! I’ve never seen a pink California poppy, if you can believe it. I always see the orange and yellow and white. And happy anniversary! ❤ 🙂

Thanks Sarah! I’d never seen a pink California poppy before either. Had scattered two packs of seeds and the rest were orange and yellow, with the exception of two reddish ones.
Hope things are going well with you! ❤

Love the haiku, Betty. The photo goes with it beautifully, and together they make an appealing shahai.
Here on Halkyn Mountain, we have Welsh Poppies of course – bright yellow, a pure delight atremble in the breeze…
Congratulations on your 9th WordPress anniversary!
Take care,
Paul

Thank you, Paul! Am glad to hear you have your own poppies to enjoy. There’s just something so cheerful about a field of them waving in the breeze.
Always good to hear from you. Will try to catch up with blog reading soon.
You take care as well,
Betty

Hope your appointment goes well. No fun what you’ve been through.
Am doing okay here, still after-effects from Covid (had in May-June). Don’t have my sense of taste and smell completely back but that’s just a small thing.
Take good care 💗💗
