Clouds morphing,
chasing through the sky
.
storming in a buffalo,
scooting off a lamb –
.
shifty creatures
drawn by the wind.

Polka-dotted sky
white-cheeked clouds mooning the earth
pansy smiles and winks.

Last night
I saw your moon
silver,
waxing full
between the clouds,
its hug
wrapping me to sleep.
.
This morning
I saw your sunrise
coral,
spreading low
through the clouds,
its breath
flushing over my cheeks.
.
Tonight
I see your sunset
violet,
easing down
below the clouds,
its rays
combing out my dreams.

Fierce clouds blow apart
setting sun calls it a day
storm fades into pink.

Moon blazes a trail
through the cottage cheesy clouds
waxes victory.

Feathered paint on blue
white contrails and faerie wings
Gaia strokes the sky.

Under the apple tree
harvesting gold
she leans
on the last flush of summer
and dreams.
Bees gather her calm,
spiders spin up the sun
and high above, breezes
start painting the sky –
for tomorrow
the woolly clouds come.
