Daddy long-legs
on the ceiling,
can you know
how I’ve been feeling
as you lurk
above my head
while I lie
tucked in my bed?
Just keep in mind
my policy:
don’t spin
in my proximity!
Stay overhead
and you can be
guardian watching
over me.
