soft colors of
amber and sage
brush across her arms
on terracotta mornings
and lavender afternoons.

Bracelets of seashells
on pink ribbons
play on her wrists,
her celadon skirt
swaying like the tresses
of the willow
where she dances
in the garden –
invisible.
