Polish clean
your cutting rocks
my jagged stones
till dawn reveals
prisms.

Polish smooth
your cutting rocks
my jagged stones
and at dawn
we’ll find each other
garnished
in the fan dance
of prisms.

(sorry, just one more old Winter Solstice poem, this one from 1992….)
*
we sing and dance
in this new wash
of sun.
*
Icy prisms
play the lights!
*
Our eyes gather
reds and greens,
we weave them into
holy wreaths
as one white candle
shines
the untouched snow.

Polish clean
your cutting rocks,
my jagged stones
and see at sunrise
prisms.
